Andrew G. Cook, M.D.

Dr. Andrew Cook is a fellowship trained interventional pain management specialist and anesthesiologist. Dr. Cook is a native of Orlando, Florida and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University where he graduated with Distinction. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. Dr. Cook went on to complete a general surgery internship and anesthesiology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and a fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Cook has presented numerous research and case studies at national meetings throughout the country. He is a participating member of multiple professional organizations dedicated to the advancement of the field of Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Cook’s clinical interests include new and emerging interventional pain therapies, spinal cord stimulation
and minimally invasive spinal procedures for chronic pain. He is medically licensed in both the state of Florida and Kentucky. Dr. Cook firmly believes in the practice of medicine that utilizes the latest evidence-based, patient-centered outcomes and patient education to best serve his patients. In his free time, he enjoys golf, basketball, water activities and carpentry. Dr. Cook is excited to return to Florida and join the physicians and professional healthcare providers of the Southwest Florida Pain Center in advancing the culture of innovation and compassionate care to the patients in this area.
