Robert David Ball, D.O., M.S.
Dr. Ball is an Interventional Spine and Pain Management physician who has dedicated his life to the eradication of pain. His focus is upon treating complex pain conditions with the most advanced interventional pain management treatments available. Due to his extensive experience and advanced skill set, Dr. Ball receives referrals from all over southwest Florida.
Dr. Ball is double Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology positioning him to provide the highest quality pain management utilizing the latest techniques including cervical and lumbar radiofrequency ablation and neuromodulation. He is a national leader in neuromodulation techniques including spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion stimulation. After completing his medical training in South Florida, Dr. Ball completed residency in Anesthesiology at the State University of New York in Syracuse where he served as Chief Resident. After completing residency, Dr. Ball pursued additional training and received a highly competitive fellowship position in Interventional Pain Management accredited by the American Board of Medical Specialties at the State University of New York in Syracuse. Dr. Ball's work has been presented at numerous national meetings and he regularly participates in training programs throughout the country. He is an active member of the Spine Intervention Society and International Neuromodulation Society.
L. K. VALENTE, M.D.
Dr. Valente graduated from Tulane University and trained in surgery at New York University/New York Infirmary before completing Anesthesiology Residency and Fellowship at New York Medical College. He has more than 20 years of experience treating complex pain management problems and established one of the first pain management treatment programs in Charlotte County in 1989. This was a major step forward in the treatment of chronic pain in Southwest Florida.
